Produced from the only vineyard in the Livermore Valley planted to this varietal. Our Pinot Grigio is full of crisp melon & honeysuckle aromas and flavors. Long finish is well balanced with sharp acidity.
Premium Wines
Honey colored, clean varietal nose, and long rich finish describe the 2007 Estate Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. Barrel fermented and oak aged, this fume style Sauvignon Blanc is a natural pairing with rich seafood and light meats. It was Estate Grown on our own vineyard and picked at perfection in mid September 2007. Only 100 cases made.
The fresh tropical fruit bouquet, so characteristic of Livermore Chardonnay, was preserved with an early pick. Barrel fermentation in all new oak gives this wine a generous mouth feel with a smoky finish. Our Estate grown wine compliments delicate fish and light meats.
Reserve Wines
Bright cherry/berry hints, smoke and tobacco bouquet. Long finish, medium tannins and good acidity. Pairs well with lighter red meats and strong flavored seafood dishes.
A favorite of our winemaker, Earl Ault! Our Estate Grown Sauvignon Blanc was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the natural fruit flavors. You will experience a bright, citrus with firm acid, and a melon finish.
One of our most popular wines, a blend of 50% Estate Cabernet, and 50 % Thatcher Bay Merlot, is sure to please. Full round fruit flavors with soft tannins. Perfect with lighter red meats & game.
Our Merlot comes from a neighbor, Thatcher Bay Vineyard. Full rich smoky plum and cherry fruit. Nice oak balanced with crisp acidity. Firm tannins will carry this wine into the next decade but delicious now. Pairs well with an afternoon Bar- B- Que.
We were fortunate to obtain a mere one ton of Hansen Zinfandel. Aged to perfection in new American oak barrels, this elegant wine exhibits finesse not usually seen in Zinfandel. Smooth soft tannins and a long finish describe this wine. Only 75 cases were produced.
This stylish wine is a blend of 80% Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Syrah. The richness of the Cabernet balanced with the full body of the Syrah gives this wine suppleness and weight. Pairs well with roasted meats, and full flavored pasta dishes, or even an empty wine glass.
Scarlet is a delightful dry Rose made from 100% Livermore Syrah grapes. After crushing, the juice was allowed 6 hours of skin contact to give the vivid scarlet color. Cold fermentation to dryness at 53 degrees maintained the bright pomegranate and strawberry flavors. Try this wine with picnic meats and cheeses. Only 120 cases made.
Intense peach, apricot, and citrus
flavors punctuated with a rich nutty finish. Crisp entry, long soft finish. Aftertaste of bananas.
This unique dessert wine is made from our Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon. It displays the intense berry flavor evident in East Livermore Valley vineyards and is a perfect marriage with chocolate desserts.
Port and Dessert Wines
A Port blended from Tinta Armamelo, Bastardo, Tinta Cao, and our Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon. Bright Garnet cast. Full-bodied. Rich in chocolate, black fruits, flowers, coconut, and dried fruits. Pairs well with a fine cigar.

In the Seventeenth Century, the island of Tortuga was one of the richest and wickedest pirate strongholds in the New World. A nest of smugglers and traders, it was a melding of Old World desires and New World riches. Today this wine reminds us of the past with the blending of an Old World varietal grape with New World chocolate. Just as in the halcyon days of Tortuga, New and Old come together as a feast for the senses.Tortuga Royale is handcrafted by co-fermenting our Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with Scharffen Berger 70% Cocao Powder and fortified with fine eau de vie brandy. Delicious on it's own or paired with a bunch of Pirates!
